Ragnarok M:Update Patch Note of April 2025
Team Competition

The 20th season of the team competition will begin on April 14, with the competition being held every Saturday from 20:30 to 24:00 and going on for a four-week period from April 14 to may 11.
Team Competition Season Match Rules:
- Match times are every Saturday 20:30 to 24:00 (WIB)
- The team competition season mode supports cross-server matchmaking, but the season points ranking will still be based on your server, and the tournament will still be conducted on your server.
- There's a new "Match only on my server" option in the team competition season mode
- It will be based on the settings of the team member who clicked [Start Matchmaking].
- The option is not valid when cross-server teams are formed.
- Each team can have a maximum of two of the same class. If there are 3 or more of the same class, matchmaking cannot be initiated.
- You cannot switch classes during season or tournament matches. If you want to change classes, please cancel the matchmaking first.
- To make matchmaking easier, we have removed the need for a teammate's confirmation when the party leader initiates a season match.
- After the season ends, the [Team Competition] Tournament segment will begin.
- Tournament Schedule: May 12th to May 18th
- After the tournament ends, rewards will be distributed based on tournament rankings and season points. Each season's points will be adjusted after the tournament ends.
Tournament Participation Rules:
- [Arena] - [Competitive] tab introduces a new [Tournament Mode];
- From Monday 5 AM to Friday 24 PM is the time frame to form a team
- adventurers need to create/join a tournament team, form a team of 6 members, and have all members confirmed before the team leader enrolls in the tournament;
- Registered teams will be ranked based on the total points of the 6 adventurers in their current season's team competition
- top 64 teams will be eligible to participate in the official competition;After the registration period ends, the match-up will be confirmed based on the participating teams' team competition points.
The matching rules are as follows:
- Teams ranked in the top 1/4 based on team competition points will be considered seeded teams (e.g., 64 teams, 16 of them being seeded teams)
- Seeded teams will be randomly assigned to different groups within their half of the bracket
- Remaining teams will be randomly allocated
- The final round (8 teams) will have completely random matchups
Tournament Match Rules:
- The first round of matches will start at 19:30 on Saturday.
- 15 minutes before the match (19:15-19:30), the team leader needs to click [Start Matchmaking] to confirm participation. Teams that fail to click [Start Matchmaking]

The tournament format:
- The tournament format is mixed knockout.
- The first four rounds will be single-elimination, with 64 teams competing to determine the top 4;
- From the top 4 matches onwards, a best-of-three format will be used to determine the winner. The fixed sequence of dungeon matchups will be "Magic Prison - Black and White Chess - Temple of Reincarnation"
- If one team wins the first two matches, the third match will not be played
- The runner-up will be the loser of the final round, and the two losers of the penultimate round will hold the third-place title.

Holy Ground War

The Holy Ground War season will be adjusted, and the Holy Ground War tournament will start after the team competition tournament.

Participation Rules:
- An "Arena" - "Holy Ground War" tab will have a new "Tournament Mode

Cumulative Draw Rules:
- If you haven't drawn a [Preferred Card] for 55 consecutive times, the guarantee system will be triggered, and the probability of obtaining a [Preferred Card] will increase with each draw until you obtain one;
